About Us – South Sudan Study Hub

The South Sudan Study Hub is a free, community-driven learning centre in Juba, dedicated to empowering young South Sudanese through education.

Founded in 2023 by local teachers and volunteers, we provide quiet study spaces, textbooks, Wi-Fi, and daily tutoring in English, Maths, and Science for students aged 12–18.

Our mission: bridge the gap between limited school resources and big dreams.

“Education is the only path to lasting peace.”

Open Mon–Sat, 8 am–6 pm. All welcome.

History

Founded in 2018 by local educators and diaspora supporters, Ashmount began in two rented classrooms with a dream: quality secondary education for all.

  • 2019: First S4 cohort sits national exams—88% pass rate.
  • 2021: New science block and girls’ hostel opened.
  • 2023: Named Top Performing School in Central Equatoria.
  • 2025: Solar-powered ICT labs and 40+ clubs running.

Today, we stand proud—rooted in Juba, reaching for the stars.
